@scott_squires Escalate … they have b95 masks un a clinic or Hospital. Timed mine w/covid lull & asked for n95 masks in all areas & recovery. And on Mon morn first procedure. Did same with hand surgery last year too.
Understandable they can’t use masks you provide. I did that once

@DeborahDuffin @MeetJess @scott_squires You breath through nose not mouth at dentist … or you choke. The mask covers your nose … breath through it. BUT one needs another mask to protect the ReadiMask from getting wet as that defeats the electrostatic feature of any n95 unless it’s waterproof. I’ll use a 2nd too.

@neal_boren @danaparish It gets wet during dental cleanings etc. does it not? A wet n95 doesn’t work anymore … destroys the electrostatic feature of the masks. I’m going to layer another mask to protect the ReadiMask when I try this.

@MeetJess How does it work at the dentist as it’s going to get wet and that ends the electrostatic protections as I understand n95 masks?

@AntFetamine @drseanmullen I don’t think so; lots of people double mask. But a wet Vflex is compromised. So I like a layered approach, might try it. Sucks we have to do this!

@AntFetamine @drseanmullen ReadiMask is plastic; am worried if it’s water resistant enough. I wear Vflex, might try both same time.
Send pic or desc of Vflex for dental. One covering the other solves water problem for sure. Vflex seems like it could hold the ReadiMask down better vs taping it down.

@CarnivoraCC Can you wear the adhesive mask around your face ir nose like some do for dental appointments? Not sure what your testing requires re mask types.
Also what UV lamp & filter do you use?

@wonderartsy Love the Spring colors! Curious why using that adhesive type vs the regular styles w/straps you normally wear? I only use adhesive for dental / mri visits.
