Just found grepai which offers your agent local semantic search via mcp so you're not burning up tokens (or time) scanning directories and grepping files all the time. Benchmarks are showing 97% fewer input tokens on a 155k line repo!
When we were first hiring engineers for this team, quite a few of them wouldn't talk to us after we told them we weren't going to use Unity to build it. We built a team of crazy good engineers and I'm excited they're showing off what web tech can do in 3D.
Issue trackers are still driving me bananas. Why don't they implement these simple features and help us all have way better focus and flow? https://t.co/srT6wIQUzB
I'm going to build a new kind of ticket-tracker because all the other ones make me crazy: https://t.co/SoPitZFHug . It can't be that hard right? #agile#lean#kanban
Of the things that stick in my craw, the worst are tools and processes that enshrine the idea of a team as a bunch of solo developers in competition against each other to see who processes the most tickets in a fortnight.
Worse if they call them "agile tools."
The usual workflow apps like trello and asana are driving me crazy for a number of reasons. I'd love to hear if anyone feels the same and why. #agile#kanban#lean#shamelessmarketresearch
so far we have about 40 pages of debugging strategies and trying to organize them is a struggle :)
here's a draft of the table of contents (though it's SO FAR from being done, note the "unsorted pages" section haha)
Part II in my series on how to do work breakdown for a #softwaredevelopment effort: https://t.co/r8Vp46Sr1T . This is the real foundational part for making sure your projects don't flop.
