GOD STORIES | “FOR THE FIRST TIME, I FEEL LIKE I’M LIVING THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE.”
When Paul was asked for three words to describe his experience with the VFN Family, he said:

LOVE.

HONORED.

APPRECIATIVE.

But what God did in Paul and his family went much deeper.

“For the first time, I feel like I am living the true Christian life that God has always desired for me.”

Paul began discovering a life centered on RELATIONSHIP with

Jesus:

ABIDING with Him.

HEARING His voice daily.

LOVING one another.

And living as spiritual FAMILY.

Then one simple revelation changed the way his family looked at church:

“HOW CAN WE GO TO WHAT WE ALREADY ARE?
WE ARE THE CHURCH.”

Instead of simply going to church once a week, they began learning to BE the Church every day.

“Be the Church.
Love like Jesus.
Walk like Jesus.
Do the works of Jesus.”

Paul also discovered the power of spiritual family.

He can share a prayer request and know that brothers and sisters 1,300 miles away—and even across the world—are genuinely praying.

The message that gives him?

I AM NOT ALONE.

And now Paul wants others to know:

THERE IS HOPE!

If you long to KNOW Jesus intimately...

If you're hungry for His WORD...

If you want to hear His voice and obey Him...

If you long to see people saved, discipled, loved, and walking in their God-given purpose...

Paul says:

“THIS IS THAT!”

FROM GOING TO CHURCH → TO BEING THE CHURCH.

FROM WEEKLY ATTENDANCE → TO DAILY ABIDING.

FROM ISOLATION → TO SPIRITUAL FAMILY.

FROM WATCHING → TO PARTICIPATING.

Paul ends with a question for all of us:

“You only have JUST ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

HOW WILL YOU LIVE IT?”

That's the heart of the Spirit-Filled Vine Seminar.

ABIDE IN JESUS.

HEAR HIS VOICE.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

MAKE DISCIPLES.

BE THE CHURCH.

GOD STORIES | GOD GAVE HER A HOME ON HER BIRTHDAY
This is the story of a woman God rescued—not once, but again and again.

Years ago, Jesus delivered her from addiction and radically changed her life.

She loved Him. She wanted to serve Him.

But over time, without realizing what was happening, she exchanged one form of bondage for another.

She became consumed with religious programs, activity, and performance.

Her motto became:
“I’ll do it!”

She became a leader in a traditional church and spent years working, serving, and standing on the stage.

From the outside, it looked successful.

On the inside, it increasingly felt like a prison.

Religious activity had slowly taken the place of simply being with Jesus.

Then, while watching our First Love series, God spoke clearly to her:
“Get off the stage.”

Those words began a journey of freedom.

“Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.” — Revelation 2:4–5

On Mother’s Day, she came to VFN Pensacola.
She began discovering what it meant to stop merely attending church and start BEING the Church—to live in a genuine family of believers who love Jesus and love one another.

She began learning that she didn't have to perform for God's love.
She could simply abide with Jesus.

Hear His voice.

Walk with Him.

“I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine.” — Song of Songs 6:3
And God began restoring her life.

He blessed her with a good career.

He surrounded her with a loving church family.

And He enabled her to purchase her first home—an apartment.
But later, the apartment complex began deteriorating.

She kept her own apartment clean and beautiful, but the neglect around her caused mold, mildew, drainage problems, leaks—and even frogs getting inside.

With the high cost of rent, finding a safe and affordable home seemed impossible.

BUT GOD.

While we were praying together, the Lord gave me a word of knowledge.

I saw a small home on someone else's property—something like a mother-in-law house.

And I sensed that the owners would care more about finding a trustworthy person to live there than they would about getting the highest possible rent.

Then it happened.

A couple had a small home on their property.

They lived across the street, surrounded by acreage.

And they were looking for exactly the kind of person the Lord had described.

They even worked with her financially so she could afford the rent.
JUST LIKE GOD SAID.

And then God added one more beautiful detail.

She received the home ON HER BIRTHDAY!

Her favorite color is pink, so she filled her new home with it.

The morning after moving in, she sent me a message:
“Good Morning from my pick house!”

She meant her “pink house”—and when you see the pictures, you'll understand why.

But God wasn't finished.

Her new home is only about an eight-minute walk from the white sands along the Escambia River.

Now, in the quiet of the morning, she can walk beside the river and spend time doing the very thing God had been restoring in her life:
ABIDING WITH JESUS.

You tell me God is not good!

Look at what Jesus did.

He rescued her from addiction.

He rescued her from religious striving and performance.

He restored her First Love.

He placed her in a genuine spiritual family.

He gave a word of knowledge while we prayed.

He provided exactly the kind of home He had shown us.

He gave it to her on her birthday.

And He placed her near a quiet river where she can walk with the One she loves.

This is what Jesus does.

And this is why we're sharing these GOD STORIES as we prepare for the Spirit-Filled Vine Seminar.

This seminar isn't about adding another religious program to your life.

It's about coming back to JESUS.

Returning to your FIRST LOVE.

Learning to ABIDE.

Learning to hear His voice.

Learning to live as His family.

And discovering the life, love, power, and beauty of the Church Jesus intended.
