@FarmNitrogen
First renewable nitrogen fertiliser plant to be built on a farm in Australia.
The plant will produce 4,500 t p.a. of anhydrous ammonia for use on the cotton farm, with excess for local sales.
N-equivalent is 7,500 t of urea.

The dual markets of fuel and fertiliser de-risk investments into ammonia production plants.
I enjoyed the innovation at Ammonia Energy APAC and the interesting scalability opportunities (big & small).
Always good to learn something new.

@TMFScottP Green hydrogen is better suited to manufacturing green ammonia & urea fertiliser.
Current ammonia fertiliser has high footprint (12kg CO2 / kg H2) and is 90% imported from OS.
Nitrogen for the fertiliser comes straight out of the air, so, doable anywhere with a hydrogen supply.
Forecasting the future farm adoption of water-jet technology.
Likely led by the northern farming systems including sugarcane, cotton and wide row grains.

The aim is to pre-cut sowing lines while pre-drilling starter fertiliser.
Looking for a faster seeding operation while maintaining maximum residue
