This is 13-year-old Oleksandra. Yesterday, she passed away from injuries sustained on June 22 when a Russian drone struck a residential building in the village of Znob-Novhorodske, Sumy region 🕯💔

​The attack killed her grandmother, stepfather, and half-brother.

​Her mother managed to pull Oleksandra and her stepson, Maksym, from the rubble, saving their lives. However, the young girl suffered burns over 40% of her body.

​For 45 days, doctors did everything in their power to save her, but yesterday (August 5), Oleksandra's heart stopped.

Їхня історія - не казка. Це дорослий вибір двох людей, які серед болю й смерті знайшли сили любити й триматися разом.
