The 𝕏 algorithm assumes that if you interact with content, you want to see more of that content.
One of the strongest signals is if you forward 𝕏 posts to friends, it assumes you like that content a lot, because it takes effort to forward.
Unfortunately, if the actual reason you forwarded the content to friends was because you were outraged by it, we are currently not smart enough to realize that.
Massachusetts stands to lose almost $1 billion in annual revenue by 2030 as high taxes push wealthy residents to move elsewhere, per Bloomberg.
More than 96,000 residents making a combined $19.2 billion in adjusted gross income are set to leave the state annually by 2030.
For the love of god, if you reach out to a stranger…no matter what happens…you always come out better than before.
You either get the yes. (Win)
Or
You get the free experience (also a win)
So you always end up better.
Don’t let fear fool you.
Action increases assets.
It seems to me that the personal evolutionary process takes place in five distinct steps. If you can do those five things well, you will almost certainly be successful.
Together, these five steps make up a loop, like the one here. #principleoftheday
People work.
Sacrifice.
Then get rich.
Then get time.
Then fill their time with weird routines.
Then forget how they got rich in the 1st place.
Then tell others the weird routines made them rich…rather than what they did.
Which is whatever it took.
Not a 3hr morning routine.

Knowing what people are like is the best indicator of how well they are likely to handle their responsibilities in the future. At Bridgewater, we call this "paying more attention to the swing than the shot." Since good and bad outcomes can arise from circumstances that might not have had anything to do with how the individual handled the situation, it is preferable to assess people based on both their reasoning and their outcomes. I probe their thinking in a very frank way so as not to let them off the hook. Doing this has taught me a lot about how to assess others' logic, and how to have better logic myself. When both the outcomes and the thinking behind them are bad, and when this happens a number of times, I know I don't want them to do that type of thinking anymore.
For example, if you're a poker player and you play a lot of poker, you will win some hands and lose others and on any given night you might walk away with less money than a lesser player who's gotten lucky. It would be a mistake to judge the quality of a player based on just one outcome. Instead, look at how well someone does what they do and the outcomes they produce over time. #principleoftheday
People who are exceptionally good at talking are usually less skilled in execution.
And those who are exceptionally good at execution are usually less good at talking.
We compensate outwardly with our strengths to distract from our weaknesses.
If you’ve been searching for the solution to your problem with no luck -
Consider that it may in fact not be a problem to solve but a fact of life to accept.
The moment I realized I had given the person I resented the most power over my life, I realized that whoever carries the blame carries the power.
So until your finger of blame points at your chest rather than someone else’s, you stay a victim of your own making.
