Our award-winning short from 2014-Janet Devis- is now on Youtube. Synopsis- A woman, thought to be a witch, is interrogated and imprisoned by machines in a future dystopia. If you enjoy science fiction, you may like! https://t.co/V5f9CDi7bC
Watched The Surfer with Nic Cage as the titular surfer. It's like a demented, trippy, well made B-movie... but I really liked it. Actually reminded me of The Swimmer (1968) at times, with similar themes. The Surfer shouldn't work but it's strangely addictive. Great score too!
I've covered Jaws 2 for this new WBD book. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the book store: OUT NOW! Animals Attack! Almost 300 pages in full colour packed with hundreds of images. Available in both softback and hardback.

13 years ago today- The first Stone Roses reunion concert, Heaton Park, Manchester. Cost a fortune but it was a great, crazy trip. A trip to Liverpool followed the next morning in comatosed state. Glad that they never made a new album too.
My short story of Daniel Came Home, which won the Unrestricted View Horror Festival last year, is published here (only Β£1.97 for a Kindle version!)@X https://t.co/UWt1RiUqTk
Another great video from Crab Apple on YTube. I've been following his channel since the beginning and he's going to narrate my short story (Daniel Came Home) for me, as well as adding some narration to my feature. Such a cool guy!
Watched Landlocked (2023) on Shudder. A very low budget, yet very effective little chiller. Created and filmed by one first time film-making family, who play versions of themselves. The pace is slow and many won't have the patience to stay with it, but this pays off later on.
An edited version of my 2014 film Janet Devis won Best Short Film at The Toronto Fantasy/Sci Fi Festival this week. Good to see the old girl still doing well! It's available on YouTube.
My short film Daniel Came Home has been nominated for The Barcelona Indie Film Awards next month, taking place at this theatre. Doubt I can afford to go but it's good news. Daniel also won Best Drama at a Canadian Black and White Films Festival this week!
My trophy finally made it to the island from London. Unrestricted View Horror Film Festival's Best Short Story for Daniel Came Home. Basically, the story version of my film. Wish I could have attended the awards night but I did attend several film screenings. A great fest.
I wrote for all three Unsung Horror books, which are now available in soft and hardback. With forewards from the likes of Joe Dante and John Landis; tons of lesser known films covered and beautiful illustrations, they are essential for horror film fans!

Good news! My short story of Daniel Came Home won Best Short Story at @UViewFF's fantastic 7 day London horror festival. It will be published early next year. Gutted that I couldn't get to London last night but watched live online.
Crazy few days: From Isle of Wight to pack and move flat in Hove, then to the @UViewFF Festival with Sherine to see some very cool short films (an excellent week long fest-finishing Sunday), then a meal out and finally back to watch Halloween 1 and 2 (back to back) until 3am
