Heavenly Father, this morning I don’t have fancy words. I don’t have the strength to pretend I’m okay. I’m coming to You exactly as I am exhausted. The kind of tired that sleep can’t fix, the kind that lives deep in my soul after carrying too much for too long. Lord, You see the tears nobody else sees. You know what it feels like to smile in front of people while silently wondering how much more my heart can take. Some days I wake up already overwhelmed before my feet touch the floor. The weight feels so heavy that I don’t recognize the person I used to be. Somewhere between surviving and existing, I forgot what it feels like to truly live.
Lord, let this morning be the beginning of something different not because life became easy, but because Your presence became greater than my fear. Help me believe that happiness isn’t gone forever, peace isn’t out of reach, and my story isn’t over. Give me just enough strength for today, and when tomorrow comes, remind me You’ll be there too.
