@WGRZ Why is @WGRZ sharing a horrific story from Texas? Your audience assumes its local news from the shortened notification on mobile phones. Clickbait.
Brush the dust off here — I’m super duper excited to share I’m a member of @magicschoolai Pioneers Program! As an IT Coach, I see that as a game-changing product for teachers.
@news4buffalo Without including a location in the post, the audience is left to assume that the news station is reporting something local. This is in Tennessee. This is just clickbait and insensitive as to alarm the local audience.
@WGRZ When local news shares stories like this, the audience is driven to assume it’s local and click. Its sensational clickbait when you don’t include the location in the tweet.
@DetroitMark Skylagoon was a muchh better experience for us. We paid for the cold plunge, sauna & steam room too. P2 thought the view of the power plant detracted at blue lg
We also stayed outside Reykjavik one night with concrete hot tubs next to a steam vent. Northern lights were visible.
@news4buffalo This is clickbait for local news’ social media. It’s distasteful to pull a story of a traumatic experience that is outside its geographic purview. This story isn’t a National story. The title purposely hides “Northern California” so phone notifications don’t reveal until clicked.
