Ummm… The #B16172 variant (India origin) now almost 30% of sequenced cases in England… displacing the already-fast #B117. WHO and UK both elevated the warning last week. UK experts say it is 60% faster than B117.

Thus it’s possible that #B16172 is ~2.4x faster transmission than original Wuhan strain!
