All cases from NHS Tayside patients will still be judged on their individual merits, but at least these patients have that opportunity now. The same cannot be said for private patients' cases. The disparity is glaring!

1/ @JohnSwinney The Eljamel Inquiry was due to sit in April/May, bu didn't due to safety issues at Waverley Gate.
The Inquiry still hasn't heard a single piece of evidence because it seems finding a suitable venue has become one of the great administrative challenges of our age!

Will hearings start in September, or is another delay already on the cards?

...hearings could be held in multiple locations—Dundee, Glasgow & Edinburgh—Yet the simple act of changing venue appears to have become Scotland's greatest logistical challenge!

The Eljamel Public Inquiry has been delayed because of fire safety issues at Waverley Gate—issues that apparently didn't prevent the Scottish Covid Inquiry from using the very same hearing suite over the past 3 years.
And despite the Covid Inquiry proving that evidence...
