@LockedOnBC After 1st qtr game had zero flow. Officials had to conference after every call, couldn’t reset the play clock or chains after a 1st down, nothing more BC than converting a 3rd down to try and close out the game only to have ball taken away before receiver was down. Ugly at best
@scott_pianowski Doubtful you remember but you and I hit up the one in North Reading after a Sox afternoon game a million years ago. I think local guy Jason Bere pitch in a battle of the Sox. Guy in front of us had a shirt "The Grill is Always On". It became an oft used slogan in ABPA battles.
@scott_pianowski Another classic "A .200 lifetime batting average in the Major Leagues tied me with another sports great averaging 200 or better in a 10-year period -- Don Carter, one of our top bowlers.”
@beaconstball I used to follow the team a lot closer than I do now. What caused literally 4-5 players to transfer out from a pretty decent team? Did they feel they couldn’t compete without Post? coaching? NIL money? From afar it seems to be a pretty big indictment on the program.
@scott_pianowski@hockey_samurai Played a Bruins/Canadians bubble hockey game last week on vacation. It’s the one game I show my kids no mercy. Bubble hockey is my game…
@scott_pianowski How do you navigate FAAB early in the season, especially in deeper leagues? Do you go all in on someone that is off to a great start or do you prefer to wait for larger sample knowing that you could miss out on a season long contributor?

@ArtestJones At one stand their POS (point of sale or piece of…) tablet froze. The employee said we’ll take whatever cash you have. Their inability to have contingent plans for concession staffing when students are on break (football and basketball) is comical at best.
