Do politics really have to invade every aspect of our daily life? Even chicken?
Things are slowly becoming more and more partisan, and, in my opinion, causing a great rift in our world.

With all of the children in need of a loving home, the orientation of the parents should not matter- only their capability to love and provide for a child.
A judge recently ruled that faith based adoption agencies in Michigan who have long standing practices of refusing to place children in homes of same-sex and unmarried couples are not discriminatory. #piusnews https://t.co/EnLiH84tEF
Completely agree! Like the edpuzzle we watched today... voting should be representative of the population and as accessible as possible. Laws should not hinder access to voting, but instead, open it.

As a person who wants to go into medicine, and has worked alongside nurses who have very strong beliefs about abortion, this will be a problem to many. Where is the free-exercise clause? Being forced to perform an abortion? Not ok.

This is the second time a personal plane has crashed close to the city in the past several years. Will Atlanta or even the Department of Transportation get involved. We shall see! Thankfully no pedestrians were harmed. #piusnews

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey bans political ads globally. I don't know how I feel about this. In some fashion, it eliminates the advantage of having enough money to advertise for your campaign on social media, but also, limits free speech.

I don't think that college campuses should be allowed to censor free speech. People are ignorant, yes. But without them stating their opinions, how can you debate and argue for what you think is right. Isn't that the basis of democracy?

It is crazy that through social media, a basketball player can stir up some big conflicts with another country. I wonder what will happen with the NBA's relationship with China, especially after LeBron's tweet.

This goes to show how big of a part media has in how we see political figures, but shouldn't these political figures be more focused on policy and not twitter? #piusnews https://t.co/aoCRs77DLE

completely agree- although eliminating media bias may be something that seems impossible, reading completely contradictory stories of the same event always leaves me wary and mistrusting of the media.

Harvard wins the case against Asian American students who call the school's admissions process out as "infected with racial bias." To be honest, I'm disappointed-- school admission should be based on well... school.

The Florida Legislature passed legislation that requires ex-felons to pay fines and fees in order to have their voting rights restored. Criminals are citizens and citizens get to vote-- simple as that.

Even though Trump's use of social media, in my opinion, causes more people to dislike him than not, he bypasses the media by simply stating his, untouched (no doubt) opinion. All people have the right to free speech.

Reading all the conflicting sources that are covering this impeachment issue! How do we ever know what is true these days?

Totally agree. People should never use their right to free will and speech to degrade other people EVER. But also, college should be a place where every opinion, no matter right or wrong, can be heard. That's how we learn, right?

Colt, a gun manufacturing company, will no longer sell AR-15s for personal use. While upholding the Second Amendment, the company adapts to the reality of our world-- something that many people and corporations must do.
