14th NATO Innovation Challenge has called upon companies worldwide to develop technologies for remote mine detection and neutralization.

Today, 11 finalists are presenting their solutions to a panel of judges at the final event in Vilnius. 5 of these finalists are Lithuanian!

🇱🇹🇪🇺 Today, we held an info event on the 2024 Work Program of the European Defence Fund (EDF), allocating €1.1 billion for defence R&D projects. The EDF aims to foster innovation and cooperation in European security. Lithuanian entities are encouraged to get involved.

Today, a new plan for UAV development in 🇱🇹 was announced, including the launch of UAV management course at newly established Drone Competence Center, aiming to train 1000 citizens annually. In addition, UAV development will be bolstered through 🇱🇹Rifleman Union, new laws & NGOs.

🇱🇹Viceminister @GretaMonika is co-leading the Counter Ransomware Initiative (CRI) meeting in the UK. Lithuania is responsible for a unified information-sharing solution among more than 60 countries and organizations. CRI aims to combat cybercriminals demanding ransom payments.
