@KatStryker111 I think they will use these guys to get some inside info on RH. Cut a deal and walk free. wishful thinking but fingers crossed the government isn't completely complicit.
@cooked_files Listen to how he says backed 1 to 1. Just sounds like he knows hes lying 🤥 "The tokens are backed 1 by.. 1 to 1 by the underl SHarEs." Voice gets very shaky when he makes that statement.
“We know a little something about U.S. securities laws.”
Yeah — from paying for the lessons.
Robinhood has racked up over $200M in major brokerage/securities penalties: $65M SEC for misleading customers about PFOF/best execution; $57M FINRA + $12.6M restitution for systemic supervisory failures and misleading customers; $10.2M multistate settlement; $7.5M Massachusetts settlement; $45M SEC for violations of 10+ securities-law provisions; and $26M FINRA + $3.75M restitution over AML, order-collaring disclosures, influencer communications, clearing/reporting failures and more.
And the allegations didn’t magically disappear: Robinhood’s own 2026 SEC filing discloses an NY AG investigation into execution quality/collaring, FINRA investigations over its 24-hour-market disruptions, pending arbitrations alleging securities-law violations over the 2021 trading restrictions, and IPO litigation alleging false/misleading offering disclosures — with the Ninth Circuit reviving part of that case.
“Send your lawyers and we’ll educate them”?
Regulators have been educating Robinhood for years. Bring a notebook.
