#Russia sent at least 40 missiles at #Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and other cities across #Ukraine, trying to overwhelm Ukrainian air defences. Today's Russian strikes have hit Kyiv's biggest children's hospital Okhmatdyt and have killed at least 23 people.

Russian missiles have killed more than 550 #Ukrainian #children since the start of the full-scale invasion. Another 1,368 children were injured by shelling. Since 2014, Russian aggression has claimed the lives of more than 790 children.

Today is the Day of Commemoration of the Children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against #Ukraine. We bow our heads and express grave sorrow in memory of the innocent victims whose childhood Russia stole and whose dreams will never come true.

The world must do everything possible to bring to justice every criminal involved in the deaths of our children. The #world must protect every child.
