@Rekha39893679 Would be cool but I kinda doubt they’d actually do it. Feel like they’ll wait until the other X-men to nickname her that or unless they go with her other nickname Jeannie
I’m sorry but the storyboard argument will always make me laugh bcs in what world would they openly show/admit that they took another characters storyline and just applied it to #that character. Yall cannot be this obtuse my god
@m0nad0girl About WV taking heavy inspo from the Resurrection comic. Wendigo fans always show the storyboard that the writers had as proof that they didn’t copy
@EJperfection Lmao I know but me and him can be twins bcs I suck at it too! Only played when I was a child and bcs my dad forced me 😭 Raised in a family that’s football obsessed
[2/2] Now I’m not saying there isn’t some crazy Jean stans bcs there is. Just infuriating that Jean fans quickly get dismissed bcs they speak up. A whole double standard and yes also misogyny ⬇️
I feel like this also extends to being a fan of powerful female superhero’s. Male comic fans will always push that you only like these female characters for superficial reasons (bcs their powerful) meanwhile they only love their powerful male superheroes in a deep way
While I hate power scaling and the whole aspect of comparing sales, I find it very frustrating that if Jean fans simply talk about Jeans influence on other female characters and how some have cribbed aspects of her we get categorized as unhinged stans. [1/2]
I don’t think recommending comics from the 60s should be considered pretentious we should not only value the art put into it but also value how its the reason we have so many amazing stories it became a collaborative effort with fans who grew up with those stories.
The way this is about to be us up next…there’s already some daft twts like these just based on rumors but I’m sure they’re gonna intensify from mcu fans and a certain fanbase
