Hummingbirds are on my mind again as they currently fight over the feeder outside. Pretty soon, they'll be off to Mexico again for the winter. I painted these two paintings last year around this time, and I'm offering them for sale for the first time. Links below.

Fun fact: Screech owls don't actually screech, despite their name. If you hear an owl screaming in the woods, it's almost certainly a Barn owl, not a Screech owl.
That's what I've done here with the mini-forest landscape in the background. This makes it appear as though autumn light is shining through the trees.
The main subject is a little gray-morph Screech Owl named Hermes.
