@CarsonHayek @CrossSwordsPod There was a lot of UFA interest in Beck so he may have gotten a deal in the 4.5 x 4 range. This just spreads out the hit over 6 years instead of 4. He will be 34 at the end of the deal and is a great skater so for a 4th liner who is not expected to score i think this is good.

@BaldPanarin Nobody is all that interested in Trocheck and he is not moving off his No trade list. My guess is that if the Sabres do trade for him it will be Krebs, Ziemer, and a third.

@EmeraldCityHky The ownership group is well meaning but clueless when it comes to hockey. If you want to win in the NHL you have to be ruthless, I don't see the owners putting a Management group in place that would do anything to win, which is where you have to be to.comepte with VGK, FLA & TB.

@EmeraldCityHky As a Sabres fan that lives in Northern Oregon, I really want to root for the Kraken, but after seeing Botterill absolutely destroy the Sabres for 3 years I just can't do it. GMJB cant plan, can't sell players on a market, and panics at the wire when he has to make a move.

@KattKommunist @KrakenCanada It's bigger than trying to attract one player. This was the problem Botterill had in Buffalo, he had no vision, he had no clue how to build an actual roster, it just seemed like he made moves as they came in front of his face.
