most of these pointless debates happen because ppl are way too parasocial with idols & celebrities, ppl we're just meant to admire and not psychoanalyze everything they say clearly after mutual discussions. nobody asked you to play online therapists we don't need your two cents
we can never have any actually productive discussions in this fandom because you guys take everything as a personal attack on txt and it's fucking exhausting
I've been wanting to say this too. him taking about his struggles/body doesn't give anyone else the right to joke about them/start overanalysing things he says and does. there's a reason he's so reserved and some of you need to realise these are real people. you don't know them.
Im so tired of kpop twitter fr
"You started it"
"No you started it"
Can y'all be more mature than a 6 year old???? Gosh thats making me so pissed. There are stupid ppl in EVERY fandom. Just block and move on. Reacting by bodyshaming or insulting their favs will NEVER be okay.
sbs intentionally editing/erasing the queen out of the thumbnail is insane work,, its because of stuff like this that what le sserafim is doing is SO important, queer people exist and will continue to exist regardless of whatever agenda you're trying to promote
it’s a lot but please read and please suggest what we can do to be better.
i really think there needs to be a real conversation about the state of this fandom and you can’t keep blaming everyone else for the problems we create. Moments have started burning bridges for tubas that never needed to be burned. you saw how this year is going for them and you keep blaming everyone else when in reality you have some insecurity in tubas and i truly don’t understand why because if you cared about our boys and loved their music and talent then you shouldn’t care about what’s going on in other fandoms.
1. having shooters is cool and all but you need to pick and choose your battles. why do you need to defend tubas from a random teenager who said “they can’t sing” when we know they can and we know they’re saying it to get us in an uproar. who cares that ppl dont like tbt? you will never be able to change their mind. people who already like kpop are no longer caring about if they can sing or if the music is good or not. if they decide they hate our boys they are sticking to it no matter what. stop trying to prove something if you don’t have to. we should be defending them from being defamed, not from random opinions of users with 3 followers and 2 likes that are just themselves on separate priv accounts
2. why does it bother you that another group is debuting? you sound so insecure and entitled. as much as i want bighit and hybe and all of the world to revolve around our 5, it just doesn’t that’s the reality of it. hybe isn’t debuting new groups to sabotage tubas, they’re just doing what a business does and that’s trying to make more money. when you start tweeting negatively about other groups your convince their fans to not only never want to one day stan tbt, but also they vote against us. THE VOTE AGAINST US.
3. multis are Moments too. even if tbt is their least of their fav groups, they’re still a Moments of Alwaysness. they contribute to steams, even if it’s 4 listens a day that’s still 4 more listens and they’re more than likely actually contributing to the unfiltered streams bc they’re not acting like a bot. when you attack them, they don’t want to be apart of the fandom. and asking “why would you unstan because of the fandom? you don’t stan the fandom” isn’t the right thing to ask because at the end of the day, if they don’t feel community, they slowly start to disconnect from the artist.
4. voting and streaming is the most important but attacking people is never going to get people to do it. id rather you encourage people and be gentle and allow it to be fun than make them view it as a job that we don’t get paid for. Encourage daily, not attack. we used to have voting and streaming games all 2023 why did we stop having fun? why don’t you join or encourage joining parties that our fandom accounts create? you have to remember that new fans exist and they don’t view the fandom like we do now. i was a new fan, i didn’t understand streaming and voting it didn’t feel like it mattered to me until it grew onto me because i was gentle with myself. i know that if i made it feel like a job then i wouldn’t have been part of the fandom like i am today but i was lucky enough to join twt in 2023 when we were more united.
5. there are no more fun moments in our fandom. we don’t have fun community spaces. we don’t have Moments of Alwaysness awards, we don’t have spaces where everyone just talks and laughs, we don’t have talent shows, we don’t have art fairs, we don’t have binge nights, we don’t tweet each other good morning or tweet each other with kindness at all anymore. these are all things we’ve had in the past and suddenly gotten rid of. nobody wants to be here anymore
6. lastly, please be kinder to tubatu. a lot of times we get mad at things we don’t realize they had done or loved and enjoyed. let’s just be more grateful and thank them a little more. and thank each other a little more.
