Hey voice actors! Is there a way to get more comfortable with yelling / loud emotion? Unfortunately living in an apartment, I’m always anxious my neighbors will hear me and don’t really want to cause any issues. I doubt it would if I record during the day. So I’m asking!

@DabdosVO Accents are hard! I only have southern under my belt because I lived in the south for years as a kid. You’ve got this though, learning accents is super fun! Remember to take breaks as needed:)

@AdamCurleyVA I got the same one! Started asking questions until he said he could only do e-check. Said then and there that I couldn’t be of service. My email was blowing up for the next 12 hours. Had to block them. Glad you noticed and dodged it quick though!

This industry is filled with stories of "I was unhappy in my adult life/work and now that I'm a voice actor (or other creative craft/field), I'm much happier."

And I'm quite certain that those folks longed for PLAY. That it had degraded over time, as "adulting" took over.

When you’re on CCC what makes you get super excited for a role or makes you stay far away from it?

I get excited when I see a sarcastic character. But, I stay far away when I see the creator is responding to comments and being rude or standoffish.
