One of the great graces of our sanctifying God is to remove the illusion of self-sufficiency—by any means necessary—and to create in His people a sobering awareness of their desperate dependency.
Trade self-sufficiency for God-dependency.
I wish those who so vehemently oppose the just enforcement of immigration law cared so deeply about the rampant slaughter of innocent, unborn human children that has been taking place for generations here and around the world—a holocaust the likes of which history has never seen.

I am not a Christian Nationalist, but I almost could be. While I want Christian ideas and Christian voices prominent in the public square, and I celebrate that America was founded on many Christian ideas, I have a number of concerns with the Christian Nationalist vision. Here are six questions that I think are worth considering.
But one thing we are definitely seeing is the significance of the passage of time. Because there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we can be, and what we will be, and what we must be—now that we’re finally unburdened by what has been.
The one bad thing about Kamala losing is that we’ll never find out about what we need to do around creating an opportunity economy that is about what we need to do to create opportunity for small businesses that is about the dreams, aspirations and ambitions of the middle class.
Worldwide, 73 million abortions occur per year.
Worldwide, 60 million people die from other causes per year.
That means we are killing more people through abortion than are dying from other causes.
Abortion remains the most significant human rights atrocity in human history. And nothing else comes close.
@NBCPolitics It’s not a “very interesting and difficult path”. Abortion is the deliberate and blatant murder of human beings. It doesn’t matter if it’s 6 months, 6 weeks, or 6 days after conception.
There is absolutely no excuse for being unclear, indecisive, or compromising.
@ZacksJerryRig Love your videos, quick thought:
1) It’s irrational to say that people can’t have real opinions on things that don’t apply to them.
2) The fact that those who would supposedly *benefit* from this oppose it is notable.
3) It’s unconstitutional to tax $ that people don’t even have.
@VP You, an elected official, are commanding the public to place unqualified, unconditional trust in all women—simply on the basis of what?? A shared identity?
What if that woman is an unapologetic murderer?
To be clear, this is abominable. Arizona did not go far enough and Donald Trump says they went too far.
“You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. . . . Justice, and only justice, you shall follow” (Deuteronomy 16:19-20).
👎Beware of lists like this about Jesus 👎
Jesus...
- Fed the hungry
- Loved the poor
- Was a brown-skinned, middle-eastern, undocumented immigrant
- Was outraged at systemic injustice
- Elevated women
- Defied the patriarchy
- Eschewed religious power dynamics
- Gave healthcare to those who couldn't afford it
... be like Jesus.
A) While some are true, some of those are a s-t-r-e-t-c-h of gospel narratives
B) Some are DESCRIPTIVE, not PRESCRIPTIVE
C) You can also make a (much less popular) list like this from the gospels...
Jesus...
- Fought for a traditional definition of marriage
- Opposed sex outside heterosexual marriage
- Loved his country
- Defied cultural elites
- Chose 12 *men* to lead the church
- Affirmed gender is defined by biology
- Fought for the infallibility of the Bible
- Said people who didn't believe in him didn't know God
- Was part of a traditional family
- His followers approved the righteousness of military service
... be like Jesus.
Everybody wants to pick and choose aspects of Jesus to make him the mascot of their personal cause. But...
1) Jesus is a Lord, not a mascot. Jesus does not submit himself to our causes. Our causes must submit themselves to Jesus.
2) This is exactly what the 10 commandments forbid in "taking the Lord's name in vain." To put God's name on your flawed cause = to "take the Lord's name in vain."
"For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed... you put up with it readily enough."
–– 2 Corinthians 11v4
“Aslan,” said Lucy, “you’re bigger.”
“That is because you are older, little one,” answered he.
“Not because you are?”
“I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.”

@elonmusk Hey Elon,
From a user perspective, X would drive much more engagement for video content by prioritizing implementation of robust playback controls.
• +/- 15
• Fine Scrubbing
• Chapters
• PiP
• Playlists
FB sucks in this. People won’t use clunky software. X has potential.
In law the greater right takes precedence over the lesser right. For example, the greater right of safety takes precedence over the lesser right of driving as fast as you please.
The right of a woman not to be pregnant is not as great as the right of a child not to be killed.
Fellowship and worship are a foretaste and fragment of heaven. The one who finds them a burden and not a privilege may be sure that his heart stands in need of a mighty change.
