Litecoin just got an interesting institutional connection.
The Litecoin Foundation has signed an MOU with Greywick Digital to bring litecoin:native onto Canton as cLTC.
Canton is being built around institutional finance, with participants including LSEG, DTCC and major financial-market infrastructure firms.
cLTC isn’t live yet and there’s no confirmed launch date.
But if Litecoin can become an asset that institutions can use inside Canton’s settlement environment, that’s a very different use case from simply being traded on an exchange.
