@hopfiIms Imo hopper being able to not let his grief consume him is a really touching end to his character arc. When we meet him in season one he’s depressed and abusing cigarettes to cope with the loss of Sarah. Seeing him overcome his grief and chose to live on for El is a beautiful end.
