Coming off a league MVP Season, Browns QB Deshone Kizer is the cover athlete of this year's rendition of Madden Grid Football 2021. Congrats to Kizer on this prestigious honor! @EAMaddenNFL@leaguecrawler@BomberLeague
It’s a rough go of it for us as we drop our week 8 game 20-14. 3 INTs really helped out the Titans because our defense was playing well enough to hold them to only 1 TD. Offensive efficiency and strong defensive play are the practice points through our upcomig bye week. @GridMbl
Grid Live tomorrow night at 8:30PM EST on the Grid YouTube channel, the 4-3 Houston Texans @Grid_HouTexans and the 6-0 Tennessee Titans @Grid_Titans square off in an AFC South matchup you won’t want to miss this game trust me. #SavageSouth@GridMbl
*INJURY UPDATE*
Doctors confirm some bad news for Texans fans. Deandre Hopkins will miss significant time for the second year in a row after he suffers a dislocated hip. “We’ve been in this situation before, I think our guys can step up in his place.” -Paul Jones @GridMbl
Houston is able to finish out their clean game on the road at Jacksonville 38-31. The defense was able to put on a late goal line stop in the final seconds to secure the victory. We now head into our bye week 4-3, and look to finish the latter half of the season strong! @GridMbl
We are unable to take down the undefeated Titans this week and thus fall to 3-3 on the year. Two unfortunate redzone turnovers likely cost the game for us in this one, but there is still more to be desired from the defense. Next we take on Jax, another divisional foe. @GridMbl
Have a day Deshaun Watson! The Texans QB earns himself AFC offensive player of the week after going 18/26 for 240 yds & 3 TDs. He also added a rushing TD on the day. “This is the type of play we need if we expect to be a contender moving forward,” said GM Kyle Fishleigh @GridMbl
A wonderful game at home gives the Texans the 49-10 win over the divisional Colts. HC Paul Jones was interviewed postgame saying “Execution was the key to this game. Across the board our guys made plays and executed, both O and D. That’s what won us this game.” @GridMbl
We are proud to announce we have raised over $700 for the Wounded Warrior Project @wwp from our March Madness squares. As a Veteran this is a proud moment to see an @EAMaddenNFL league come from the ground up & turn into a community that gives back!! THANK YOU MADDEN COMMUNITY!!
Houston gets demolished in the bay area week 4. Patrick Mahomes lights us up and the niners brutally put us away 17-44. “There’s a lot to work on as we move forward. We knew this was a good team but we have to be better. We will be better,” said Watson. We now sit at 2-2 @GridMbl
Back on top! C Sturgis puts it through the uprights with under 10 seconds left to give us the go ahead lead 21-18. A last hail mary stop was all that was left to seal the win against Oakland. Special recognition this game to Lamar Miller who scored his 4th RTD this year! @GridMbl
Week 2 Houston fails to pull off a win, losing 16-22 to the New York Jets. The defense seemed out of tune letting up over 400 yards of offense, despite having 2 picks. Offensively Lamar Miller scores the only touchdown for the team. We look to rally week 3 versus Oakland @GridMbl
In the win column! Houston was able to pull of a solid victory over the reigning NFC champ Cards 24-13, starting off the new season right. The defense leads the show with 5 sacks while Jadeveon Clowney earned himself 5 tak, 1 sack, 1 FF, and a Fum Rec. @GridMbl
We finish the preseason at 2-2 after a 14-30 loss to Chicago. First team played very well in their only quarter outscoring the Bears 7-3. The second team O and D however only scored 7 more and gave up another 23. A lot to be desired from those filling in behind starters @GridMbl
Houston’s Deshaun Watson led offense looked nothing less than mid season form after the 38-28 preseason win over the Pats. The defense showed some poise only allowing 259 yards of offense, some of which came in garbage time/conservative playcalling. Final PS game @ Chi. @GridMbl
We sit 1-1 halfway through preseason now after a 28-12 victory over the Saints. It was a quiet day for everyone aside from the 3 INTs by the defense and Lamar Miller’s 2 rushing TD’s. Heading into the season, Miller looks to hold tight his heavy workload duties @GridMbl
