@ReadingEagle columnist Mike Zielinski put the finishing touches on a story about the football career of @GriddersRed standout 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚. Pacella, an offensive tackle, is in the RHS Hall of Fame, having been a key member of the 1977 Central Penn Conference championship team. He then went on to be a 1st team All-@theACC choice @TerpsFootball in 1982. Pacella player pro football for the Washington Federals of the USFL (1983-1984) and the @Eagles (1984) but suffered a knee injury in '85 camp with the @nyjets. This was the impetus for Zielinski's story. Pacella's pro career ended in @steelers camp in 1986. He and Lenny Moore are the only RHS grads to make the NFL.

@nittanyrich wrote about 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞'𝐬 brand new book, "All Things Being Equal." Moore had help from co-writer Jeffrey Jay Ellish. Leslie Moore, the @Colts, @PennStateFball and @GriddersRed legend's son, always encouraged his father to write the book. Leslie Moore had died four years earlier at the age of 43. Of particular interest to Berks readers, Moore called RHS football head coach 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 his second father. Stopper's influence pops off the pages. Moore, a @ProFootballHOF, was called by at least one observer, "Marshall Faulk before there was Marshall Faulk."
I always enjoy talking with Reading 🏈 coach Troy Godinet. We discussed Section 1 of the L-L League, building relationships, his favorite NFL players, music, and more!

Without the lord none of this is possible. Pray my teammates stay safe and healthy for this season as we prepare for every challenge of adversity for these next 11 weeks of football.❤️🖤⚔️ #AGTG#KnightBlooded#GodBless#MentalHealth

@MDrago59@ReadingEagle column highlighted @Dmarsh42 as the great nephew of @GriddersRed legend & @NFL HoFer 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞. "If knowing who I am means something to him, fine. But I like him the way he is," said Moore. Donyell was in his rising-senior summer.
