Our lab group recently had our end-of-Spring semester get-together at an @AuburnU baseball game! Congrats to our undergrads, Trevor and Sarah, who will be graduating soon!
Had a nice time at the 2026 #ACS Spring Meeting in Atlanta! It was fun sharing our research on conducting polymers and learning about the latest polymer doping research.
Curious how we measure movement of charge in organic electronics? Join us Wed (2/4), 8-11 pm EST for a live Q&A with Dr. Chris Grieco who will discuss ultrafast spectroscopy, photochemistry, polarons, and more while playing Pikmin.

We had a blast last week at #DestinationSTEM teaching middle school students about spectroscopy instrumentation and the rock samples that we use in our research lab!
@cosamoutreach
We are thrilled to announce that our paper on transient absorption spectroelectrochemistry of a mixed conducting polymer (#OMIEC) has been accepted for publication in @ChemicalScience!

We are digging deeper into our petroleum science research using rock samples we gathered from the Hartselle Sandstone in northwest Alabama! We had a great trip in the field with Chris Hooks of the Geological Survey of Alabama @AL_GeoSurvey.
Last week, we enjoyed sharing our research studies of conducting polymers with visiting high school students at @COSAMOutreach's Summer Science Institute at @AuburnU!
We are thrilled to begin building a new #ultrafastSpectroscopy instrument this summer to study mixed ionic electronic conducting polymers for #bioelectronics. We thank @EdmundOptics again for supporting our optics program and ultrafast education at @AuburnU.
On Tuesday, Caitlyn received a Malone-Zallen Fellowship, which will fund a new research area that she will be leading on diradicals. We also celebrated Rashid's Dow Graduate Fellowship that he received last May.
We are so proud of Rashid and Caitlyn for receiving two graduate student awards from Auburn's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, which we recently celebrated. Congrats!
Advancing flexible electronics requires fundamental understanding of doping in conjugated polymers. This work examines limitations of conventional IR spectroscopy for probing their charge carriers. @GriecoLab
