One Halloween my mom offered me $20 to spend on whatever candy I wanted if I would skip trick or treating. I turned her down, but more than 30 years later, I still wonder if it was the right decision. Back then $29 could have bought a lot of candy and guarantee no Bit-O-Honey.

Monticello has come a long way. I took the tour about 15 years ago. The guide mentioned Sally Hemings in passing then said something along the lines of "That's all I can officially say about her. If you want to know more, see me outside after the tour."

@eggpro1975 @ABC7Jory His 1A rights are controlled. The right to free speech isn't absolute. If Jory went on air and threatened violence or needlessly incited panic, there'd be consequences. Limits are in place to protect the public. Also he's just quoting 2A, indicating restrictions were intended.

Let me see if I've got the current logic right. We need more good guys with guns but not police because their job isn't to save lives and they just want to go home at the end of the day. Give the guns to untrained people who we don't trust to put together lesson plan. Also doors.
