@manley_tnt@JollyWoyner They just won the Leagues Cup 10 months ago by dogwalking Messi and Inter Miami 3-0, and they went to the WCF in MLS the year before. Lots to still quibble with and last night was horrific, but they are still part of the cream of the crop in an MLS that is more competitive.

We would like to invite you to a Celebration of John Griffin’s life on Sept 28 at 1pm in the Hudson’s Bay High School Gym. The outpouring of support from the community has been incredible, and we look forward to remembering the best of Dad.
“There are adults in Clark County today who are leading productive, loving lives who made the right decision about something important years ago, likely due to the guidance of John Griffin.”
TY to @ValenciaCCT for telling the story of Dad’s life-changing influence on so many.
He was ticked. I was ticked. We had a heated argument. And it started a friendship that lasted a couple of decades.
John Griffin always stood up for the young people in his life, as a teacher, a coach, an administrator, and a mentor.
He will be missed.

Coach Griff was a true 1/1 💔. He spent his entire life in Education. He gave so much, he cared with his entire heart, and he left a positive impact on too many to count. We are all devastated to lose such an amazing man.
❤️❤️Griff❤️❤️
Lost a good person over the weekend. John Griffin was a long-time basketball coach in Clark County. Girls basketball at Mountain View and Camas, plus other stops. AD at Fort Vancouver. Principal at King's Way.
RIP Griff.
He was a father figure and mentor to countless students, players, teachers, and assistant coaches through the years. I count my blessings every day that I was able to have him as my Dad.
We've lost a great one. My Dad, best friend, and my hero -- John Griffin -- went to be with the Lord on Saturday.
We are all devastated by his passing but we are so heartened by the life he led, the impact he made, and the people he loved.
