aespa NINGNING has donated 20 Million Won to the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross to help fund the launch of their Heatwave Relief Support Project.
The Seoul Chapter of the Korean Red Cross announced on July 15th that it is launching a “Heatwave Relief Support Project” to help vulnerable elderly residents in Seoul stay safe during the summer, funded by NINGNING.
This initiative aims to protect the health of marginalized groups who are exposed without protection to relentless heatwaves and tropical nights by preventing heat-related illnesses.
The project is being carried out with a total budget of approximately 27 million won, which includes a 20-million-won donation made by aespa’s NINGNING specifically to support vulnerable seniors, including those living alone.
@MattGrippi@lunch_enjoyer That is off the rails insanity wow. I could never associate with a banana taco eater. This has gotta be either a trend or some regional thing because ain't no way 😭😭🤢🤢🤢
@sangiebabie@JSBuildsBridges@nazzobetweeting My monarchy is not the same as the brits. They are just people. I've literally met one of them and they're genuinely chill. They have no actual power, they don't flaunt their wealth, and they just exist to bring people together. Just diplomacy and charity.
@JSBuildsBridges@nazzobetweeting Funny because if you knew anything about the nordics you'd know our monarchs are only ceremonial and kept to preserve culture and tradition. They have 0 political power, and are mostly just there for tourism and diplomacy. So yeah we are actually past that lmao
It's less about the doctor believing you (in this case specifically! I know they tend to ignore womens concerns in healthcare) and more about them having to triple check that you aren't a minority case dumbass
As frustrating as these questions are the doctors have to make 100% sure because very seldom they will come across one absolute moron who doesn't understand what sex entails, or believes they are safe because they do something that they wrongly think won't get them pregnant
DOCTOR: When was your last period?
ME: They’re regular. Next one should be next week.
DOCTOR: Are you on birth control?
ME: No.
DOCTOR: Are you pregnant?
ME: Absolutely not.
DOCTOR: How do you know?
ME: Haven’t had sex in years..
DOCTOR: Are you sure?
ME: Unless immaculate conception made a surprise comeback, yes. I’m sure.
There is soooo much misinformation regarding womens reproductive health that it isn't out of the question that someone who simply doesn't understand comes along and thinks *I'm safe because he never came inside* not knowing that it isn't necessary for conception.
@Alvira2x@imwinnerbluu What? They literally chose to move in together after having lived separately. They could've stayed separate but wanted to live together. You never heard of best friends moving in together? Roommates? Smh
