6 game playoff would have been perfect for everyone (except the TV networks)
1 + 2 seed get byes = incentive for perfection + winning championship game
3-6 seed = grace for a team that loses one game and MAYBE a two loss team who loses in their conf. championship game.
And THIS is why the massive Playoff field and Expansion STINK
Oregon is going to lose as 24 point favorites to a team who just lost to Tulsa
And the punishment doesn’t result in ELIMINATION from competing for the National Championship and being the Best Team in CFB
You already lost a chance at that bid imo
I'll be telling my grandchildren about the season Justin Verlander came home to chase one final ring and ended up throwing three total innings while the team missed the playoffs entirely
“A 4 team playoff will make bowl games matter less!”
*Ignores, destroys bowl season*
“A 12 team playoff will make the regular season matter less!”
*Ignores, makes rivalry game results irrelevant in many cases*
Now here we are… “A 24-team playoff will kill the value of the biggest regular season games”
The voices speaking out against playoff expansion have been right every single step of the way. Some of you might like the trade off for 4, 8, 12 or even 16… I see a bunch of teams that will have to go 1/4 in their losable games to make the playoff. How is that enjoyable?
Do you guys remember when Michigan Arizona was supposed to be the game of the century, 2 top kenpom 10 teams ever playing each other in the final four, pick em, Arizona closed as 1 pt favorites, everyone picked Arizona and then Michigan won by 50 and was up 50 all game
Good season from Little Brother and Sweet 16 Tommy. I’m not exactly sure why MSU was such a trendy pick to make the Final 4. They were perfectly decent all season. Nothing special. Not elite. Got pummeled by Michigan twice. Not a real threat. Just because Sweet 16 Tommy talks a big game doesn’t make them a real title contender. They are a nice cute middle of the road program. Little Brother indeed. #Goblue
Has anyone ever actually remembered their Ticketmaster password because I’m convinced that even if you put in the right one the app will still tell you it’s wrong and make you change it
