What a great run in Scenic City this past weekend! The team went 5-3 and finished in the top 25 in our age group!! I batted .400 with 3 singles and 3 doubles along with a “homerun” to left center that was a dead ball when another fields foul ball came into our play, even though it didn’t count it was a great shot over the fence! Defensive wise I am still working back from my injury but every game there is improvement! On the first day I had a diving tag out and throughout the weekend I made several outs at 2nd base and 1st base and getting more catching time under my belt! I was so greatful to spend the weekend with a great group of girls! Over these next 2 weeks when we have off more and more reps will be put in along with camps!!

As the highschool season comes to an end it wasn’t the outcome we wanted but definitely an experience I will cherish forever. Being able to know when my last game was with my senior best friends. Being able to experience what I watched in 2019 when that softball team won states. This experience was so special I will never forget the late nights in KY with the team, the rainouts we raked the field for, the arguments while taking off the tarp, and this special playoff run with this amazing team. Even though I still have one more year left it doesn’t feel real. I am so thankful for this team and we will be back next year. State runners up isn’t that bad 🤷‍♀️. #thankyouseniors #comebackseason

State Bound!!!
This past week Louisville had our Regional games! We beat Hoban 8-0 with a great fought performance! During the game I went 2-3 with a homerun to centerfield, a hard ground ball between the 5-6 hole and another ground ball to the 2nd baseman! My swing is starting to feel normal again and I can’t wait to see what happens next Friday at 10am @Akron Firestone!! 🐶🏴‍☠️ #comebackseason

Did someone say… BACK 2 BACK DISTRICT CHAMPS?!!!?? This past week was filled with many eventful things like practices, lessons, and most importantly moving on to Regional SemiFinals against Holy Name!! We play them Wednesday at 2pm @Akron Firestone! In the game against Buckeye Medina on Friday night I went 1-3 with a double and a pop fly both to left center. On top of the game I got a good hitting lesson in with Kelli and worked on some swings on our day off with my dad!! On top of all that, today is officially 8 months post op from my ACL reconstruction! Many valuable lessons have been learned through this process and there are so many that I still have to learn! I’m grateful everyday to have the support I have and the blessings I have gained through this!

First game of playoffs done!! Louisville is heading to District Semi finals on Tuesday @ Akron Firestone to play against St v St Mary’s! I’m really excited about this years run and I hope we can continue to bring the fun vibes with our new team mascot lep the fish! Tuesday night we also got the chance to celebrate our teachers who have made a positive impact on all of us! We thank them all for all the support they have given us! Special thank you to Mr. Tausch (our principal) for always supporting me and letting me come to you with any problems I have! Along with that, Tuesday I went 1-3 scoring 2 RBIs to get us ahead and Thursday night I went 2-3 with a walk and 2 lines drives, one to right center and one to left field. I’m finally starting to find holes out in the field and it clicked at the right moment!! #comebackseason

Another 3 games down this past week! The team is starting to finally string hits together as we go into playoffs on Thursday @ Ursuline Youngstown 5:00 pm! I am so excited to see what this team is made of! Along with the games the last week I had more PT, a hitting lesson with Kelli @TheBillyDome , and National Honors Society Induction with @leahclaugus !! Friday night we also got the opportunity to celebrate all of our seniors and their accomplishments through their years of high school! I can’t wait to see where the rest of the season takes us!

This past week had 2 games! On Monday night, Louisville was able to get our 600th win as a team! I am so blessed that we are all able to put in the work and finally see results! On Saturday we faced one of the best teams in our division. It was a really well played game, holding them 0-0 until the 6th inning where we scored 1st! It ended up being 2-1 with a tough loss butI am ready to face them again in playoffs! Along with that I had a homerun and a couple line drives over the past 2 games! It’s almost tourney time! #comebackseason

After 2 games this week, practice, physical therapy, and hitting lessons I got a little break on Saturday for my Junior Prom! During the games this past week I had some good hard ground balls to the left side. Even though they aren’t finding holes right now, they will when the time is right! Even after a little struggle with the team this week, hopefully we can hit the reset button for our youth game tomorrow and Staff game on Friday!

This past Saturday our team finally was able to connect the hits and start off strong! We won both games, one against Triway and one against Lakeview. In the first game I went 2-3 with 2 hard ground balls and in the 2nd game I went 1-3 with a hard ground ball to 5/6 hole and a deep sac fly to center field that just caught short. I’m finally starting to see the ball better! I also warmed up a pitcher for the first time in 7 months!

Kentucky is over and so many memories were made during this trip! We didn’t have the record like we wanted to down there but they were all really well fought games that helped us gain confidence as a team!
I had 7 plate appearances and 3 walks, wasn’t the outcome I wanted but I saw my hitting coach today and this week we are working on staying in my legs more when swinging! I made so many memories with the team whether it was making breakfast or going to Buc-ees for a road trip pit stop! Back to work this week with a game on Wednesday (Home), game Thursday (@ Hoover), and a tri on Saturday (@ Riverside) with Riverside and Champion! #comebackseason
