#UnrealforFilmmakers Number 1: Always Save your render Que. It's not like Adobe After Effects that doe s it for you. If you don't save your queue, you won't know where you left off Plus, the render queue for the day will show the Sequence & Level used for a shot.

UR5 Discovery! Exporting/importing settings will NOT work when trying to switch between functional modes as you would expect. For example, switching between 3rd person to Flight mode to use as animation tools. Instead copy config folders #UnrealEngine#realtimeVFX#demonstar

#indiefilmmakerstips Inevitably you will pay $$$ to restore a crashed hard drive with all your media. You will have an extra hard drive - expensive but full. Do not use that new drive after you copy your data off! Even if you think you got it all - Insurance for next time!
Adobe Premiere Critical Tip when making a feature film: You'll inevitably be moving media around as you run out of hard drive space / dropbox / etc. Make sure the project is open when you move the media. Then all those clips will pop up at once to relink in one 🖱️ click!
