Our Griffon family had a busy week! We had a beautiful Advent celebration led by Mme Bryden’s grade 3’s, activities like gingerbread houses & Christmas crafts, the boys & girls v-ball wind-up & even a cow eye dissection! Lots of learning & celebrating the season!

Our Griffon family crushed the CSCC Change Bottle Challenge! 🤩So here are a few pics of our second assembly and the staff fulfilling their challenge promises! We had pie throwing, make-overs, fly-on-the wall taping, & even a moustache being shaved! What fun!

Our St Angela Team had a wonderful retreat filled with learning, good conversation, smiles & reflection. We started our day with a smudge outside, a wonderful session learning about treaties & teaching, tours of the @royalsaskmuseum Indigenous galleries & a Treaty Escape Room!
Yesterday our Griffon family took a moment to reflect on the many blessings & peace we enjoy as Canadians because of the sacrifices of our veterans. Thank you Mme Schultz & the grade 3 class for leading us in a beautiful & memorable liturgy. N’oublions jamais.
Our CSCC challenged our Griffon family to bring in their change in their change-bottle fundraiser, and did our students deliver!! 90 pies thrown at M Lizee, Mme Gold & Astrope, Mme Lena sang a Disney song, Mme Newman told jokes dressed like a dinosaur & Mme Fischer ate a bug!
Last Friday our Griffon family was blessed to have our Land-based Educator, Angus Hamilton teach us about bannock as our grade 8 Student Leaders helped to make 96 batches of bannock for all our students and staff! It was a beautiful day to come together for this special event.
Yesterday was a beautiful day for a group of our grade 8 leaders to paint our crosswalk for Truth and Reconciliation. Our school community is proud to be part of this project with the Regina Catholic School Division
