It was a great week at Griggs! We celebrated our amazing Counselors, Ms. Shaw & Mrs. Orman, PTA filled our pantry with awesome snacks, awarded the best attendance prize to the Dragon House for the week, and celebrated our favorite teams on spirit day. Go Shamrocks!!

Griggs High School hosted a Babe’s Chicken holiday luncheon with all staff on Friday. We even had a surprise caroling visit from our friends at Hardeman Elementary!! It was a wonderful way to begin Christmas break!

Birdville ISD voters who are 65 years or older and have not made improvements to their home will not be impacted by the Nov. 5 proposed $48 million bond election because their taxes are frozen.
Vaping has serious consequences in BISD. Students caught with vaping devices (nicotine or THC) face mandatory DAEP placement and may receive a citation from law enforcement (HB114). If your child is struggling with substance abuse, reach out to your school counselor.
There are NO second chances when threats are made towards others or the school. Birdville ISD takes all threats seriously. If you hear or see anything, even if unsure, report it via Anonymous Alerts at https://t.co/5N89KoVdFt, to an administrator, or the police.
