Hey Spags defend the pass sell out to defend the pass because the pass rush is great but but that ball is going to come out of there too fast. There's no way the pass rush is going to be able to get there consistently fast enough to stop completions.

If you defend the pass, every time he cocks his arm back, you should have somebody grabbing at the football, trying to knock it out of his hand. If he happens to pull the ball and get a forward motion, somebody needs to be there to bat that ball down. If he gets the ball airborne, headed to a receiver, anybody in the area should be trying to knock it down or change the trajectory of it. If it actually does make it to the receiver, try to block it using your defensive backs. Defend the pass. I obviously do all those other things but "defend the pass" is a lot to defend the pass

@Chiefs Hey Matt Nagy you abandoned the run to soon normally the DIRECTION you run makes a huge difference. Left to right-right to left all game. sound simple but effective. Run left on play right another read the defense as to the direction “hands on hips”, gasping.

@PatrickMahomes Patrick remember your foot work especially when you scramble and pass, get your feet under you or better yet just run the ball and get down. Receivers shouldn’t have to always jump and do acrobatics to catch a pass. Lead them open put the ball on the numbers

@Chiefs Andy Reid Patrick should throw the ball “less”, 30-35 attempts. lean into the new run package, the play calling in the RED ZONE sucks by MATT NAGY no surprise there. He can however change that by using “ the run” a lot more in the red zone for TDs against Cowboys
