As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.

@PaulSkallas I don’t disagree but I think we’d have to sacrifice a lot of the aesthetic qualities of D.C. to do so. Nobody cares about Roman architecture anymore. Our Capital would just be office buildings
...but it is the opposite; proximity is the ultimate wingman, which reflects more poorly on the man in question— how does he not feel disgust witnessing this? How does his contempt not grow that presence alone is a sufficient replacement for charisma or physical excellence?
Neither Nikki nor Bear is a villain. There is no villain. It's just a sad, tragic story. And people can no longer differentiate between a flawed character and an evil person because they're incapable of processing things outside of the most black-or-white lens imaginable.
