I swear the movie timing release was so intentional. Ever since seeing the movie (which i really enjoyed) and not all these days of September... with Jill and now Leon's first day.... i really want to play resident evil 😫

A number of Blu-ray-related patents for Sony will be expiring between 2026 and 2031, ending their ability to collect royalties on physical movie and video game discs🚀

This means audiences will be forced to rely exclusively on streaming platforms, if physical media is entirely phased out.

Blu-Rays and UHD Blu-Rays have a noticeably superior quality compared to digital/streaming counter parts, as the latter suffers lower video and audio quality due to higher compression.

So once again, this isn’t about nostalgia, this is about Sony taking away:

❌Quality
❌Ownership
❌Competitive pricing
❌Preservation

Sony has recently removed 500 movies from users’ purchases list without compensation.

They are actively ruining our gaming and viewing experiences, while masquerading it as “the future”, and we MUST NOT BE SILENT.

We speak out, seek the law, and vote on laws that prevent a single company from destroying art and entertainment, due to the greed of their CEOs and shareholders.

NO DISC 💿 NO BUY

(Special thanks to @Pirat_Nation for their research into the matter)

Someone's mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter...
I remember as every student was slowly being picked up by parents and when it was my turn I asked "are we going to die?" And my mom said "i dont know"

[GripsChan | Lorekeeper ✨️ @GripsChan]

I have vivid memory of that day.
Sitting in class and all the sudden every teacher speaking in the hall way and turning on the televisions to the news. I was younger, but I knew as the first tower fell, I had just watched people die...

@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN Sony does not deserve your great vision. They are not for the player or love of gaming they are in it for the money and you deserve a partner who understands and sees the vision you wish to create. All the best wishes and looking forward to your new title!!

@CFirefrost I feel that in my soul... it happens, we just have to make the best of it and make sure to take breaks when you need one!

This is heart breaking... all of th4 beautiful places of peace and prayer are being destroyed... if it is arson, i pray for swift justice

Japan… I can’t stop crying… 😭🔥⛩️

We’re only eight months into 2026.

And already,

19 temples and shrines in Japan have been lost to fires.

One of them, Seianji Temple, is said to have been founded in 931 and had nearly 1,100 years of history.

It was a place of prayer that local people had protected for generations.

And then,

it was lost in just a few hours.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Was it arson, or was it an accident?

I want the cause of this fire to be thoroughly investigated.

Even so,

it feels like fires at historic shrines and temples are happening far too often this year.

Buildings and cultural heritage that have been passed down for hundreds, even thousands of years can never be brought back in exactly the same form once they are lost.

Once again,

it feels like another small piece of Japanese history has disappeared into the flames.

And that makes me incredibly sad. 🇯🇵😭

New Class Action lawsuit dropped! I didn’t own a PlayStation console back in 2023 but if you did and bought any of the listed games you could be eligible to get some money https://t.co/PKl9IJFnhD
