its not an uncommon thing for deluxe editions to exist and to have more to them (which is why i gave examples), but people are being selective on whether or not to care about them. nowhere do you see the same level of scrutiny.

@lutyrannus when in reality, the base game is cheaper then 100 base game (deluxe editions have existed for hundreds of games), and cheaper still if you consider inflation. the gameplay trailer has been announced and people complained they have to wait a few hours if they dont have netflix.

again, not a paywall, you are not stopped from viewing it either later (hours, not days or weeks even) or somewhere else.

@DiscussThing discs are still licenses, and its not a paywall, its an early access, they will be released elsewhere, and honestly instantaneously anyway on every social media beyond just officially but still besides the point.

there are some reasons to want physical, but most arguments for it dont make sense, the big one being preservation. rarely do games, especially AAA singleplayer after the 2000s have problems of preservation.
