@StarTribune Light rail only works if it connects 2 place a person needs to go to on a daily basis…….
So yeah it works if it connects a persons residence to place of employment……
@ime4rreall@FOX9 The money comes from a permanent fund, that has been collecting iintrest and dividends…….they want to increase the withdrawal from that fund……..
Now the civil thing to do is if the increase the withdrawal, reduce property taxes……
@JWoolard01@LisaDemuthMN Huh, what one of those items is addressed by the governor of Minnesota?
You mean as we speak Waltz can stop all those things ?
Stop the fear mongering and actually debate policy we can control on a state level
@KSTP If you increase the funding from the states “permanent school fund”
You should reduce property taxes
Schools no longer educate, they indoctrinate……done paying for indoctrination
@twedt_twedt@AlphaNews I’m a big fan of doing. 10% cut across all state agencies…….
And did you ask the same question when they handed out stimulus checks?
@tsn_says We don’t tax food because it’s a necessity…….primarily residents shouldn’t be taxed either , shelter is a necessity also……..
Ask the homeless
@GlowSurfing Think everyone should look at the code of conduct training every state employee is forced to take every year……
See if art like this, or keying Teslas is acceptable behavior under that mandorty training
@LibertyUSA37 Don’t care what side of the political spectrum you’re on…don’t care what your religion of choice you choose
if we cannot agree to keep tax dollars out of faith based organizations, nor if we cannot agree to keep religious organizations out of politics…
Our democracy is lost
@StarTribune There is nothing any governor can do to fix the twin cities without being labeled “insert derogatory term here”
Until the crime, drugs are eliminated, no one wants to even go there
@JBartle44051086 I guess the bigger question is, should tax dollars go to faith based charter schools?
Nothing stopping Christian or Jewish charter schools from doing the same thing……
@FOX9 I must’ve missed the part in the article where, they talked about where the influx of measles came from ?
Also what was the vaccine rate in 1990 vs now, since you are using that as a baseline
@GlowSurfing I’m more irritated with the fact they are complaining about fuel prices, but have been trying to force EVs down our throats for the longest time……
