@Gianina_Natoli NHMRC say lifting the 10-year rule would reduce the burden on applicants to show evidence of career disruptions. They could just make that process easier. For example a 1-year eligibility extension for childbirth like NIH. No need to count FTE and leave dates. Just trust.
