@dweplea Attempting a cview like something here. There is no such thing as 'drop'. Ball mass and gravity remains same over 22 yards. What goes up must come down. The bowler simply delivers the ball and has no control over how the ball lands and how the batter responds.

Anderson was a bit different compared to a typical English pacer in 2002 - Hampshire v Lancashire. Used to create a lot more whip then. But you generally don't expect Tongue-type bowlers to come out of England's cricketing stables.
