@PickYourBrian@itsSaulGoodman [PARODY TRIBUTE] "Granite State"
also gave us an emotional sucker-punch ending. In all seriousness, the beloved career of Muppet legend Steve Whitmire 🐸 needs saving. Click here for more intel. https://t.co/jf0LDVLZMC
In The Godfather Part II, when the slumlord comes to Vito’s office to return the old woman’s rent money, there’s a moment when he tries to leave but the door won’t open. This was completely improvised. Coppola had rigged the door with a hidden nail so it would only open once the nail was pulled, creating a trap that leaves the slumlord awkwardly stuck inside the Don’s office.
Luckily, the role was played by the great Italian actor Leopoldo Trieste, who had a long history in comedic roles. He had no idea why the door wouldn’t open, but instead of breaking character he rolled with the gag perfectly; until young Genco, played by Frank Sivero, discreetly pulled the nail (1:15) and finally set him free.
@Todd_Spence Pink Floyd has a contender! My fan edit, also not using AI. A basic "needle drop" mash-up of Tina Turner's hit "Private Dancer" with the "If I only had a brain" sequence from "The Wizard of Oz." Push play and wait for it...🍿
@MickJagger Tina's music is timeless, even in The Wizard of Oz. The Scarecrow does a dance for Dorothy, "stretching" the song a bit to fit the scene. #PrivateDancer#TinaTurner
🔥🚨DEVELOPING: This mother uploaded footage of her 15-year old son sounding nearly identical to the legendary Frank Sinatra singing “That’s Life” has left viewers across the internet speechless, his name is George Robinson.
I love this shot so much. The camera does not change its angle on Saul and Bill; it only moves vertically. They could have framed both of them together, but instead they use the stairwell to show only one character at a time. Even the camera refuses to let Saul share the frame with the other lawyers. It creates a cold, isolating image, showing how Saul has been cut off from his peers because of what he has become. Such a simple camera trick, but it says so much.
@TheStingisBack Can't wait. In the meantime, check out my homebrew edit, "Muppet Wars" directly below. 🐸🐷🍿Deets in the traditional Star Wars-style opening crawl, about 45 seconds in. Wacka Wacka!
Happy Birthday to Jim Henson & Steve Whitmire! 🐸 This vid is late, I had to get it as close to perfect as possible. Click: https://t.co/jf0LDVLZMC. Don't be fooled by the cold open, my edit of "Muppet Wars" follows soon after, which mentions the Ted Talk: https://t.co/LhINUdBQMO
