I don't quite understand why Keon Ellis doesn't get more PT.
I get he just landed in Cleveland, so can't judge his time there yet, but whenever he plays he seems to bring good energy, tough defense and, just often enough, solid offensive production.
Sacto could've played him more last year and early this season.
1. Opportunity. The Kings needed length, athleticism and physicality early in the season as they dealt with injuries. Scott Perry pulled Precious Achiuwa off the free agent heap and he's been a true find. Achiuwa starred in this one, posting 29 points to go with 12 rebounds.
Now THAT is Sacramento Kings basketball I can get behind for the final 21 games of the season.
Great fight, and an impressive win, led by the young guys.
Light The Beam!
Dylan Cardwell is well on his way to becoming the next King to have his two-way contract converted into a full NBA deal.
The Kings actually have a rim protector.
This on the heels of the most recent Thinking Basketball video seems especially fitting.
No advantage was created. Deni Avdija just dribbled really fast into Westbrook's path (even held the ball out and hit him in the face).
Playing defense is basically impossible these days.
