Grounded API is live.
- SOTA on hand-tracking benchmarks (< 1 cm)
- SOTA on SLAM benchmarks
- In-the-wild ego data -> enriched data in minutes
- Integration with @huggingface@LeRobotHF & @rerundotio
- Built for @BitRobotNetwork RoboCap suite

We’re building human-centric robotics from the data layer up, the missing piece for generalist robots.
RoboCap + Grounded API turn raw human action into metric 3D labels ready for training.
The hardware and the tooling have always been fragmented. We built them as one stack ↓
Great ego data at scale requires hand tracking to succeed in difficult in-the-wild scenarios, not just in carefully collected settings.
Here are some examples of our hand tracking in the tricky long-tail:
Scaling high quality human data collection is critical for robotics so its great to see another player in the space - more data for our models to eat :)
I love the clean sleek design of the wearable, seems pretty scalable!
My only concern is occlusions / lack of tactile data due to vision only - maybe in v2?
RoboCap is definiitely the way forward for Egocentric data collection, and with @GroundedSI 's model that will sigifciant increase the quality of robot ego data from the wild!

State-of-the-art robotics data should be a simple product experience.
Grounded API is available now. Try it free: https://t.co/si3GYBTkSK
Comment below and we’ll DM you a RoboCap purchase code + Grounded API access.
It's clear that we’re heading toward an abundance of human data. Great to see @GroundedSI pushing forward on the infra layer for it.
What’s less clear is how we’ll turn that into an abundance of robots. The next few months should be fun 😉
Great to finally give you all access to our hand tracking!
Unlike other vendors, our hand tracking is:
- SOTA on OakInk2 (8.66mm), DexYCB (5.7mm), Show3D (13.6mm)
- In-the-wild: motion blur, gloves, occlusion, bad lighting.
- Multi-view: Cause no view always sees the hands
