@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT I think it should be NHS-funded as it would allow them to have the choice for stem cell collecting, they wouldn't have to worry about the cost if they really wanted to. However, as your saying about another person, it would depend on the number of staff available.
@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT I think I would as it would give me a bit more freedom in what to eat (soft diet only), It can very draining especially with other side effects such as headaches which can affect what you do throughout the day as medication doesn't really help me personally.
@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT I recently read an article on the use of stem cells to help with TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction/Disorder) which I have myself. This would be beneficial to relax jaw muscles/tendons and would prevent a lot of the discomfort and locking of the jaw
@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT I'm not entirely sure but there may be. In 2004 there was an article published based on information in 2001 in the USA about stem cell research becoming more public knowledge and the types of stem cells being used
@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT I feel this will have a positive effect on society's outlook toward's stem cells. As people who may be against the use of embryonic stem cells receiving treatment may feel more comfortable knowing that it's not affected potential life.
@HunterMagi@AlexandruBedre1@DrDaveT My understanding of this breakthrough is that the use of induced pluripotent stem cells will reduce and replace the use of embryonic stem cells since there is controversy about their use.
@HunterMagi@DrDaveT Stem cells are really interesting and have had an interest in them for a few years since learning some basic information in school.
