It's #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek! 💛
We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. This week, we’re focusing on helping young people explore the theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself,’ empowering them to better understand their emotions and build resilience. 🌱

It's Children's Mental Health Week, and this year, we're focusing on "Know Yourself, Grow Yourself." 🌱
Here's why #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek is essential:
1️⃣ Encouraging Self-Awareness: Helping children understand their emotions and thoughts lays the groundwork for personal growth. 🧠💡
2️⃣ Building Resilience: By fostering self-awareness, we equip children with the tools to navigate life's challenges confidently. 💪🌈
3️⃣ Promoting Personal Development: Understanding oneself is key to unlocking potential and nurturing continuous growth. 🚀🌟
Let's explore ways to help children discover who they are and support their journey of growth this week! 😊
To launch #ChildrensMentalHealth week we had an assembly with Milena from @BDCFT_MHST who talked to us about the importance of recognising our different feelings and talking to someone to gain support when we need it! Thank you Milena ☺️#MakeUtCount#MentalHealthMatters
To celebrate #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek It will be non uniform day on Tuesday 4th February. Children can come to school in clothes that make them happy! This could be colourful clothes, fancy dress or their favourite sport kit. donations will be collected for @MindCharity
School will continue to be closed for children tomorrow. However, we are asking all staff to meet at 11am to try and clear some of the ice on the street directly outside school. If any families are willing to help, Please bring any shovels/ ice breaking tools you may have. Thanks
After careful consideration and feedback from parents we have decided to remain closed tomorrow. Mr Tillitson has been working hard to to clear the school site but the roads and paths around school remain treacherous. Thank you for your continued support. ❄️☃️
As a result of the roads and pavements being treacherous and the freezing conditions now causing black ice, we have taken the decision for the school to remain closed today to ensure the safety of all our families and staff. We intend for school to reopen tomorrow. Stay safe 🥶
We will open at 10.30 am tomorrow morning to allow safe travel into school as the main roads are passable but the side roads are treacherous. If there is significant poor weather overnight we will message at around 7.15 in the morning if we are closed.
No breakfast club. Thanks!
For Armistice Day RCarle talked about the significance of this day, observed 2 minutes silence and painted pictures of poppies using watercolour paint. #LestWeForget#MakeItCount#AmazingArtists
Reception Carle wore Odd Socks today as part of Anti Bullying Week. We learnt that we are wearing Odd Socks to encourage others to express themselves without being scared and that we are celebrating what makes us all unique and special. #ChooseRespect#AntiBullyingWeek2024
Next week is antibullying week, and this year's theme is 'Choose Respect'.
It is 'odd socks' day for all pupils and staff on Tuesday 12th November to celebrate being unique and raise awareness.

Our @myHappymind_ topic this half term is Celebrate. We will be learning about our unique character strengths and develop strategies to celebrate them. The parent app has lots of amazing resources to help support your child at home too. #MentalHealthMatters
Today is World Mental Health Day where we stop to talk about how to look after ourselves and each other’s wellbeing. It’s so important to recognise and reflect how to take care of ourselves today and every day. #wearsomethingyellow 💛#WMHD2024
