If no one else will say it, I will… If you violate or harm others, if you lie pathologically, if you are a predator in ANYWAY, you should NOT be aloud to run for governmental office or be in a position of any authority. x10 if it’s a religious setting. End of story..
@AndrewYoung_23 He hit 36 home runs, had 99 rbi's and 77 bb's in 448 plate appearances and was paying almost daily last year at 37. He is an on base machine. Now, he can sit and bat DH. He has tremendous value for luxury teams looking to add RBI/HR, he has horrible value for the rest. #Yankees
@queencityseth You should read the interview from @m_sheldon. Votto is frustrated and mentioned winning was a big concern at this stage in his career and said the Reds haven't done enough of it. While not guaranteed, this seems like a real option in Joey's mind if owners approve and find a team
@MoEgger It is not about the money, it's about the team having the competitive prowess and ability to win. Joey isn't going to get that here. We need new ownership, or we will continue this game of musical chairs. Look at all the prospects we traded in the last 3-6 years, lots of studs.
The @MLB should really consider forcing the @Reds ownership to sell. When you've lost the players to this level, it's over. This is on Nick Krall and Ownership. Fire yourselfs before fans do it for you by boycotting and not showing up to games. Signed the Fans. #Baseball
Jonathan India on the Reds trading Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suárez: “Definitely frustrated, for sure. I think most of the guys in here are frustrated, but hey, it’s a business."
More reaction from India and Joey Votto: https://t.co/erCmVkI6MR
@m_sheldon Hope for Joey's sake they do the right thing. The Reds ownership should be forced out for not fielding a competitive team. New rule for the @MLB, if owners fail to field a competitive team (making playoffs or win 95 games) 6+ consecutive seasons, owners should be forced to sell.
@Reds The @Reds ownership should be forced out by the other owners and @MLB. They have no real desire to field a real competitive team or retain the right staff to win. Its time to clean house and that starts at the top.
@Arbella1630 @shanghaisaid @RedWineLife4Me@ABC Most common sense statement I’ve seen on the matter. I agree and same goes for Governmental overreach in all areas. Governments shouldn’t be aloud to dictate books or knowledge. We should have open source knowledge and everyone should research & come to conclusions themselves.
@RedWineLife4Me@ABC Keyword IF was at the beginning. Your argument is valid if you’re a parent. 6th grade and above should talk Sex Ed & have chance for an open/honest dialogue & Q&A from all lifestyle choices. Aged 9 or under, no. Let them be kids, adulting is hard enough, don’t speed it up on them
@RedWineLife4Me@ABC IF you don’t have children, then your argument isn’t valid, just like mens thoughts on women’s bodies, we aren’t valid and should shut the hell up. Until you have children and have to deal with their very real and ever changing emotions, you have no place in this talk.
@yegg This is not the way bro. We no longer trust anyone to decide for us what is 'misinformation'. Let us make our own calls about that. Otherwise you're just another tentacle for some Ministry of Truth
@wealth Or oil companies could keep prices low, and eat into their gigantic profits for a temporary period of time. Like individuals can show solidarity but corporations can't?
