Quarantine Day 6 & 7 brings two more gifts.
Sharing the space with my buddy of choice and a slow 3.2 km run around The Peak....well not literally, it was around the dining room table and sofa!
5 gifts of quarantine: day 5 of home quarantine in HK and a gift from each day so far. Day 1’s gift of food in govt hotel didn’t feel like a gift at the time, and it’s made us appreciate being home all the more.
Scott Neeson is a truly inspiring guy, as are the children who have been through the Cambodian Children's Fund programme. Glad to see this event at Malvern College.
Lovely No3 Arts Soirée tonight - great atmosphere with so much talent on show. Raising money for Cambodian Children’s Fund #CreativityForAll@malverncollege
Good to join 4000 volunteers for the International Coastal Clean-up in Thailand. Shocked by the prevalence of micro-plastics & grateful for the conversations across different stakeholders re. steps being taken to raise awareness and find solutions #pullingourweight#changemakers
When students learn they're not just learning new knowledge they're actually shaping their identity as people... because when we learn it changes who we are as people 😃
Are you surprised? I’m not.
Study shows that students learn more when taking part in classrooms that employ active-learning strategies https://t.co/pNGpyom9gu

A real privilege to be in Bath for Prof Mary Hayden’s inaugural lecture on International Education and the bridges built during her journey.#UniofBath#internationalschools
The last #hongkong protesters have only just left the starting point, six hours after today’s march started and the crowd stretches for as far as the eye can see at Wanchai. It’s going to be a long night
I've been talking to & working with different stakeholders to answer 'A World for our Children: What Really Needs to Change for Teens?'

These things don't just stop us from discovering our talent they affect us every day. They cause us to put our foot on the brake even when we really want to be full steam ahead. What makes you put your foot on the brake?

What stops people discovering their talent?
- Fear of failure

Great quote on momentum today
“Do not fear the winds of adversity. Remember, a kite
rises against the wind rather than with it.”
Sometimes we just need a sense that it's Okay to push forward.
Sometimes individual responsibility for the team seems to fall through a gap in the middle, resulting in a blame culture. Increased awareness of our impact and building a co-lead mentality supports team success.

I’ve seen for the past 2.5 years a Govt paralysed by one issue. Children and young people don’t talk to me about #Brexit. They talk about health, education, employment, skills, prospects and their confidence in their future - and burning injustices.@JavedKhanCEO on #bbcqt
