Massive value, it’s crazy how deep you went Eric 🙌 My theory about hurting the views because of my app slide with a screenshot just were confirmed, thank you for the inspiration to apply changes!

BTW my best slideshow so far is 2 slides, but since it brought 1-2 installs it’s all doesn’t matter much

Day 36 of figuring out app distribution

I woke up today not being able to think about working on anything. I can’t explain it, just didn’t have powers to sit on a chair not talking about opening the laptop. I just felt completely empty simultaneously feeling lots of anxiety about losing the precious time doing nothing. Then I opened a note and wrote everything I had on mind until I had nothing more to write. Once finished I decided to take a bit of time doing nothing.

I know X is full of locked in founders full of testosterone and unlimited desire to succeed so I might sound weak and unrelated but this is just a true thing about today.

So all I did all day is cleaned the garden a bit and thanks to my girlfriend went to stretches workout. I posted few tik toks that were ready and checked last night results:

One post got 5k views and 1 install from Brazil. Tiny thing but still so much better than what it was a month ago.

I hope it’s all about the weather change and I’ll wake up normal tomorrow.

@ElitzaVasileva I’m able to max it like once or two a month, but my cofounder is always waiting for his Tuesday reset, he’s just crazy working on like 10 things simultaneously and never stop

@Appkittie Considering that I saw their ads at least 100 times in the past few years and I’m not even playing such type of games it’s no wonder. Do we know how much they spend on ads?

Okay, we made some changes in the paywall and pretty happy with the result.

What improved:
1. The way we show yearly amount, which was the most concerning.
2. The outcome aka why should I pay now.
3. Empty spaces are no longer there, now everything positioned more evenly.

An something you can’t see on the screen is the animated mascot and vibrating screen while drawing the graph.

Thank you so much to guys that left their comments which opened our eyes on things we didn’t consider.

Users are getting to see our paywall but we didn’t have any purchases yet. Last night I saw on X a paywall that was looking super appealing which made me wondering if our paywall is good enough.

Day 35 of figuring out app distribution.

Today I created several video variations for the app. Mainly screen recordings + CapCut.

God knows how shit these probably are 😂

Didn’t start posting yet. I want to have at least a few days of content ready first.

Also went through Meta Ads Library and found a couple of ads in the niche I really liked.

Finished all my Higgsfield tokens 😭

But got 1 solid video out of it.

Might start testing some small paid ads soon too.

Honestly, I wish I could just skip this whole organic content part.

Day 34 of figuring out app distribution.

This week felt like I made no progress at all, but TikTok says otherwise:

Compared to where I was a few weeks ago, that’s actually pretty good.

But the last 2 days = 0 installs.

So I started digging into how I introduce the app inside the slides + comparing my posts with viral ones.

Found gaps. Rebuilt the flow again 😂

Now I have another agent reviewing everything after doing deep research on the accounts I’ve been collecting for the past month.

Already found a few patterns I was completely missing.

Videos though…

Still no progress.

AI UGC feels so much more complicated that I keep putting that frog away.

I can already imagine how terrible my first videos are going to be.
